The Light Holds You Before You Speak
The screen lights up in the dark, and your hand freezes before you even touch it. You are certain that any word you speak will only confirm what you already fear: that you are too broken to be kept.
In this hour, the silence feels like a verdict, and your own heart acts as the prosecutor, listing every reason you deserve to be left alone. But there is a truth larger than your fear, a voice that speaks before you can find the words to defend yourself.
If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. The One who sees the whole story does not agree with the accusation your panic is screaming.
You do not have to prove you are worthy of an answer. The light is already here, holding the space you are too afraid to occupy.
