The Ghost Cannot Touch The Light
The screen lights up, and suddenly you are back in that old room, saying those old words, feeling that old heat rise in your chest. You want to delete the account, erase the history, make the evidence of who you were vanish into nothing.
But the light that sees you now is the same light that was holding you then. It was there in the awkwardness.
It was there in the mistake. It was there in the shame.
You are looking at a ghost and calling it your identity, but the ghost cannot touch the light inside you. The version of you that sent those words is gone, yet the Love that walked through that moment remains, untouched by your regret.
You do not need to destroy the past to be whole today.
