The Light Remains When Screens Go Dark
The screen is the only light in the room now. You have refreshed until the battery gave out, staring at those three dancing dots, hoping they were just a glitch and the message is still unsent.
But the silence is real. The phone is dark.
And you are left alone with the words you cannot take back. In this deepest hour, the mind becomes a courtroom where you are both the accused and the judge.
Yet the light that lives inside you was there before you typed a single word, and it remains now that the screen has gone black. It does not flicker when you make a mistake.
It does not dim when the connection fails. You came from the light, and to that place you will return, regardless of what was sent or what was left unsaid.
The darkness of this room cannot extinguish what you are. The message is gone.
The love remains.
