The Light That Never Leaves
The screen goes dark. The thread that held you stops moving.
And in this hollow hour, the silence feels like abandonment. You are staring at a void where voices used to be.
But listen — the light does not speak through notifications. It speaks in the quiet.
Jesus saw the faith of those who carried their friend through a roof because the door was closed. He did not need the crowd.
He did not need the noise. He saw the reaching.
Your reaching, even now, in the dark, is seen. You came from the light, the place where it generates itself.
That origin has not gone silent just because a phone has. The support was real, but it was never the source.
The source is inside. It was there before the first message arrived.
It remains now that the last one has faded. You are not alone in the quiet.
You are finally alone with the only voice that never leaves.
