The Light In The Unsent Draft
The screen glows in the gathering dark, a small rectangle holding the weight of everything you haven't said. You type the truth until your eyes burn, word by jagged word, building a bridge to the person you're afraid to lose.
Then you stop. You read it.
And slowly, deliberately, you press backspace until the screen is blank again. The silence returns, heavy and fragile, but it is yours.
You deleted the message because you thought the truth would shatter the peace you've built. But listen — the light does not live in the unsent draft.
It lives in the courage it took to write it. The Father sees the words you typed and the words you erased, and He does not turn away from either.
The peace you are protecting with your silence is not as fragile as you think. It can hold the truth.
It can hold you.
