You Are Light Learning To Shine
The screen glows in the dark, holding your thumb over the send button while you rewrite the same sentence three times. You are terrified that a typo, a missing period, or a tone that sounds too sharp will finally reveal the fraud you believe lives inside you.
But the light does not read your drafts—it only sees the heart that is trying so hard to be kind. There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off, still covered in the filth of his failure, and he ran before the apology was even finished.
You do not have to edit yourself into someone worthy of being loved. The truth lives in us and will be with us forever, typos and all.
You are not a fraud hiding in the dark; you are the light learning how to shine through the cracks.
