The Light Sees Your Silence Enough
The screen glows in the dark, and your chest tightens because you know you cannot summon the person she expects you to be. Not tonight.
Not with this much silence inside you. You are not failing her by staying quiet; you are honoring the truth that you are empty right now.
The light does not demand a performance from you when you have nothing left to give. It sees the version of you that is too tired to speak, and it calls that version enough.
Go into your room, close the door, and let the Father who sees in secret hold you without a single word exchanged. You do not have to bring forth anything right now to be loved.
The light is already within you, even in the silence you cannot break.
