You Are Not Your Punctuation
The screen glows in the dark, and your thumb hovers over a single period. You are convinced that tiny mark makes you sound angry, cold, passive-aggressive.
You replay the conversation in your head, certain the silence on the other end is judgment. But the darkness has not overcome the light, and it cannot extinguish the truth inside you.
The one who loves you does not parse your punctuation for hidden venom. God is greater than your heart's condemnation, and He knows the intent behind your fingers better than you do.
The light that lives in you is not fragile enough to be broken by a typo or a misunderstood tone. It was there before you hit send, and it remains steady now.
You are not your anxiety over how you are perceived. You are the light itself, shining even through the cracks of your insecurity.
