The Light Sees Your Unsented Drafts
The screen glows in the dark, a small rectangle holding the weight of your entire evening. You type the words.
Delete them. Type them again, softer this time.
Then again, shorter. You are editing your own heart because you are terrified that needing someone looks like weakness.
The cursor blinks, a tiny judgment on your hesitation. But listen — the light does not measure your worth by how composed you sound.
It saw you before you typed a single letter. It knows the desperation you are trying to hide, and it does not turn away.
You do not have to curate your pain to be loved. The Father sees the drafts you never send.
And in that seeing, there is no shame. Only a quiet certainty that you are already held, exactly as you are.
