The Unsent Text Is A Prayer
The screen glows in the dark, a small artificial sun while the world sleeps. You type their name just to feel the shape of it again, then delete the message before the sun rises.
That unsent text is not a failure; it is a prayer whispered into the void. There is a light that shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
It does not need your words to know where you are. It is already sitting beside you in the silence, holding the grief you cannot speak.
The light was there before you opened the notes app. It will be there when you close it.
You are not alone in this room; the love that made you is awake with you.
