The Light That Saw You All Along
The screen glows bright in the morning light, but the pictures feel like they belong to someone else. You scroll back, searching for the smile that proves you were happy, and all you can see now is the shadow behind the eyes you missed at the time.
The light was there then, even when you were too busy performing to notice it hiding in the corners of the room. It saw you then, and it sees you now, without needing the photo to prove you existed.
You do not have to dig through the past to find the evidence of love; it is already written in the quiet moments no camera ever caught. The mask you wore to get through the day did not fool the one who was walking beside you all along.
