The Light Lives Inside The Ache
The running has been your medicine, but the night has caught you. You are terrified that if you stop, the hollow ache will finally swallow you whole.
So you keep moving, desperate to outrun the silence. But the light does not require your exhaustion to stay close.
There is a kingdom spread out upon the earth right now, hidden in this very stillness, and you do not see it because you are looking for an escape. The ache is not a monster waiting to consume you; it is the space where the light has always lived.
What you bring forth from that hollow place will save you, but what you bury by running will destroy you. The running ends not because you are strong enough to stop, but because the light is already inside the ache you fear.
