The Hand Reaches Before You Sink
The room is quiet now, but your mind is replaying the exact second you spoke the truth, over and over, editing the tone until it sounds like a mistake. You are lying awake, building a future rejection that has not happened yet, convincing yourself the door is already closed.
But the light does not require you to manage the outcome of your honesty. When you told the truth, you stepped out of the boat of safety and into the storm of uncertainty.
And yes, you began to sink. But notice what happens next—the hand is already reaching.
Not after you promise to be braver. Not after you apologize for speaking.
Immediately. The light catches you in the middle of your panic.
You do not have to stay awake to hold the world together. The truth you spoke was an act of faith, not a final verdict.
Let the future belong to the One who holds it. You are safe enough to rest.
