The Light Knows Your Fear Before You Do
The room is quiet, but the silence is heavy with the thing you are waiting for. The phone buzzes on the nightstand—a small, electric shock that stops your heart.
You do not reach for it. You watch the screen glow in the dark, then fade, then glow again, until the battery finally dies and the room is truly black.
You are afraid of the name that might have been there. But listen.
The light knows what is in the dark before the screen ever lit up. It saw the call coming.
It saw your fear. And it did not look away.
You are not defined by the message you are too afraid to read. The truth that lives inside you is greater than the news on the glass.
The night is gathering, yes. But the light has already seen you, and it is not afraid of what you are hiding from.
