the hollow ache of sitting in a crowded room and feeling utterly invisible because no one knows you are dying inside

The Light Sees You Behind The Mask

The room is loud, but you are sitting in a silence so deep it feels like drowning. Everyone sees the mask, the nodding, the polite smile—no one sees the dying happening behind your eyes.

You feel utterly invisible, as if you are made of glass that no one looks through. But the light does not need your performance to find you.

It is not fooled by the crowd or the noise. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world, and it came for the one hiding in plain sight.

It sees the ache you are carrying. It sees the part of you that feels dead.

And it is not afraid of your darkness. You are not invisible to the One who made you.

The light is already inside the very place where you feel most alone.
