the moment you realize they heard your truth but chose to look away, leaving you speaking to a wall that used to be a person

The Wall Cannot Hide the Sun

The room has gone quiet, and the silence feels heavier than it did an hour ago. You spoke your truth, bare and trembling, and they heard it.

But instead of meeting you, they looked away—leaving you speaking to a wall that used to be a person. That turning away is a kind of darkness, one that makes you question if your light was ever real.

But listen—their inability to see does not mean the light has gone out. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

It cannot extinguish what it cannot comprehend. You are not less because they looked away.

You are still the light of the world, even when no one turns to face you. The wall cannot hide the sun; it only casts its own shadow.

You were seen by the One who never looks away.
