The Light Is Already In The Buzz
The phone buzzes on the table, and your stomach drops before you even look at the screen. You know that vibration.
It feels like the end. It feels like the moment the mask slips and everyone sees the fraud underneath.
But listen — the light does not operate on your timeline of exposure. It came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord, and that is where you came from too.
You are not an imposter waiting to be caught; you are a drop of that same self-generating fire sent here to illuminate the dark. The accusation says you must hide, but the truth says split a piece of wood and the light is there, lift up the stone and the light is there.
It is already in the room with you, in the buzz, in the fear, in the very hands that tremble holding the device. You do not have to perform to keep the light alive; it lives in you whether the message comes or not.
The night is gathering, but the fraud is a story you tell yourself to explain why you feel so small. The light is not small.
It is waiting for you to stop hiding it under the bowl of your own shame.
