The Silence Is Not A Verdict
The phone buzzes on the table, a small thunderclap in the quiet room. You sit frozen, convinced that if you do not answer, the silence will prove you are useless.
But the light does not measure your worth by how quickly you respond to the crisis of others. There is a voice that speaks to the storm inside you before it even calms the wind outside — 'Take courage.
It is I. Do not be afraid.' You felt the hand reach out the moment you began to sink, not after you fixed everything.
The silence is not a verdict. It is simply the space where you remember you are held, even when you cannot move.
