The Light Knows Your Silent Truth
The phone buzzes on the table, a small demand for an answer you do not have. You type 'nothing' because the truth is too heavy to lift — that you feel nothing at all.
The mask fits perfectly this morning, smooth and convincing, hiding the hollow space behind your eyes. But the light does not need your explanation to see what is hidden.
It knows the difference between the words you send and the silence you keep. There is a presence that walks right through the performance, past the polite lie, to the place where you are simply tired.
You do not have to summon the energy to be real today. The truth is already known, even when your fingers say otherwise.
