The Light Runs Before You Speak
The phone buzzed in your pocket, but when you pulled it out, the screen was dark. Still, your fingers twitch to rewrite a message you sent hours ago, polishing words that no one else is reading.
You are fighting a ghost—a mistake that exists only in the replay loop of your own mind. The gathering dark has a way of taking small things and stretching them until they block out the sky.
But listen. The light does not require you to be perfect to be present.
It does not ask you to edit your history before it will sit with you. There was a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off.
He ran. Before the apology, before the speech—he ran.
The light is already running toward you, not away from your stumbles. You do not need to fix the past to be held in the present.
The vibration was a phantom, but the love is real.
