The Light Leans In When You Tremble
The night is quiet now, but your mind is loud with the echo of your own voice. You replay the exact tone you used when you asked for help, convinced it sounded pathetic.
Desperate. Weak.
You cringe at the memory, wishing you could take the words back, wishing you had sounded stronger, more composed. But listen closely.
The light does not flinch at the sound of your need. It did not turn away when you spoke.
In fact, it leaned in. You came from the light, a drop sent to illuminate this very darkness, and the light recognizes its own voice even when it trembles.
There is no shame in the sound of a child crying out. The request itself was the bridge.
You are not defined by the shake in your voice, but by the courage it took to speak at all. The darkness hears only weakness; the light hears a signal that it is time to come home.
