The Light Knows Your Stain
The night is gathering, and with it comes the heavy work of hiding what you did today. You are scrubbing the evidence from your hands, rehearsing the lie you will tell the people who trust you most.
You are terrified they will see the stain. But the light that lives inside you is not fooled by the clean surface.
It knows the truth of where you have been. And yet, it does not turn away.
It stands in the room with you, in the quiet aftermath of the slip, and waits. You came from the light, and to that place you will return, no matter how far you wandered today.
The darkness you are trying to conceal is already known, and it is already loved.
