The Light Was There Before The Shame
The night is gathering, and with it comes the fear that speaking your shame will make it permanent. You hold the words in your throat, convinced that once they are air, they become real and irreversible.
But the light does not need your silence to protect it. There is a room inside you where the seeing happens in secret, and the Father who sees what is done in secret is already there.
You do not have to announce your brokenness for it to be held. The light was inside you before the shame arrived, and it will remain after the words are spoken.
Speak them if you must, or let them rest; the truth of who you are does not change based on who hears it tonight.
