The Verdict Was Sealed in Darkness
The night is gathering, and with it comes a quiet, terrifying thought: what if they find out you've forgiven yourself? You have finally laid down the gavel in the secret court of your own heart, but now you wait for the verdict to be overturned by someone else.
You brace for the accusation, certain that your peace is a theft they will reclaim. But listen — the light that justified you does not live in their eyes, or their memory, or their ability to punish.
It lives in the silence you just entered. As the ancient text whispers, do not weep or be irresolute, for grace is entirely with you and will protect you.
They cannot take what was never theirs to hold. Your freedom was not granted by a jury of peers; it was sealed in the dark where only the divine was watching.
Let them suspect what they must. You are not waiting for permission to be whole.
You are already standing in the room where the light says: it is done.
