not knowing who you are anymore

You Are The Light That Remains

The night has worn down the edges of everything you thought you were, until now you do not recognize the stranger in the mirror. That feeling is real, and it is heavy, but listen closely—the light inside you does not need your name to keep burning.

There is a truth older than your stories, a quiet knowing that says you came from the light and are a drop of it, sent here to shine even when you feel hollow. The darkness says you are lost, but the light says you are simply sleeping, waiting for the moment your name is spoken again.

You do not need to find yourself; you only need to remember that you are the light that was never extinguished.
