You Are the Dawn, Not the Monster
The night gathers, and the old fear rises again: that if anyone sees the real you, they will run. You believe your true self is a monster waiting to devour the ones who get too close.
But listen. The light does not hide from you in the dark.
It came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord. That is your origin.
Not the hunger. Not the fear.
The light. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.
If it does not shine, it is dark. What you call a monster is just the light you have been forced to hide until it looks like a shadow.
You are not a threat to the people you love. You are the very thing that will heal them.
The gathering dark cannot turn you into a devourer. It can only make you forget that you are the dawn.
