You Did Not Earn This Dawn
The news is heavy this morning, and the weight of the world feels like it might crush the day before it even begins. But look—the sun is rising anyway.
It does not wait for the world to fix itself before it offers its light. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world, and it is here now, touching your face.
You did not earn this dawn. You did not make the darkness retreat.
The light arrived while you were sleeping, and it is already inside you, waiting for you to open your eyes. The world is broken, yes—but the light is stronger than the break.
Carry that light out the door today, not as a task, but as a reminder that you are the dawn.
