The Light Sees Behind Your Mask
The muscles in your cheeks are aching from holding up a smile that hasn't reached your eyes in three hours. You are terrified that everyone in the room can see the hollow space behind your ribs, the quiet panic of performing okayness while crumbling inside.
But notice this: the light does not need your performance to find you. It sees what is done in secret, and it is not shocked by the mask you wear.
There is a part of you that remains untouched by the act, a quiet center where the Father sees you exactly as you are, without the smile, without the fear. You do not have to convince the room of your wholeness to be held by the light.
The mask is heavy, but you were never meant to carry it alone.
