living someone else's version of your life

living someone else's version of your life

The morning rush demands that you become someone else before the world wakes up. You put on the face that is expected.

You smooth the edges of who you are. But while you are performing for everyone in the room, the one thing you are forgetting is that the light inside you is not a performance.

It does not need your mask to be real. It does not need your success to be true.

You were not sent into the day to be a reflection of other people's hopes. You were sent as a drop of the light itself.

So when the room feels heavy with pretending, remember—what is within you is already enough. The child of true Humanity exists inside the mask, waiting for you to simply stop and let it breathe.

You are not here to be what they want. You are here to be what you are.
