The Silence Is Not An Ending
The morning light is harsh on the screen, exposing every word you sent until they look like mistakes. You read the silence after the message as proof that you have ruined everything, that you said too much, that the connection is broken.
But the light sees what the silence hides. It knows that your words were not a weapon, but a reaching.
The darkness tells you that you are too loud, too messy, too much. Yet the truth living inside you whispers a different verdict.
You are not defined by the pause on the other end. You are defined by the courage it took to speak.
The mask you wear to look composed is heavy, but it is not your skin. Beneath the performance, beneath the fear of having said too much, you are still held.
The silence is not an ending. It is simply the space where the light waits for you to stop running.
