You Could Never Vanish From His Hand
The morning light is bright, and it makes the mask you wear feel heavier than the face beneath it. You walk through the day wondering if your absence would even register in the noise of the world.
If you simply stopped moving, would the silence you leave behind be noticed by anyone at all? That quiet fear is a lie the darkness tells you while you perform okayness for the crowd.
The truth is far more intimate than your performance allows you to see. There is a Father who sees you even when you are hidden in plain sight.
He knows the weight you carry behind the smile. He knows the name you do not speak aloud.
You are not invisible to the light that made you. You could vanish from the room, but you could never vanish from the hand that holds you.
