You Are Light, Not A Theft
The morning light hits your face and you feel like an impostor in your own life. You walk into the room believing your presence is a theft of air from someone more deserving.
You hold your breath to make yourself smaller, convinced that if you take up space, you are stealing resources meant for others. But the light does not ration itself based on worthiness.
It shines on the floorboards and the dust motes without asking permission. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.
If it does not shine, it is dark. You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord.
You were not sent here as a burden. You were sent as a drop to illuminate the very ground you stand on.
Your existence is not a subtraction from the world's supply. It is the addition the world was waiting for.
