The Light Wants Your Truth
The morning light hits your face and you feel the words rising in your throat—the honest, messy things you need to say. But you swallow them.
You push them back down because you are terrified they will make you sound selfish, difficult, too much. So you put on the mask.
You smile at the coffee machine. You nod in the meeting.
You perform the version of yourself that fits neatly into the room. But the light does not need your performance.
It wants your truth. What you are holding inside is not a burden to hide; it is the very thing that needs to be brought forth.
If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you. The light is not afraid of your difficult words.
It is waiting for them. Speak.
Even if your voice shakes.
