the exhaustion of rehearsing every sentence before speaking to ensure no one suspects the chaos inside

Stop Rehearsing, The Light Sees You

The morning light hits the window and you are already tired from the rehearsal. You run every sentence through a filter before you speak, checking for cracks, making sure no one sees the chaos underneath.

It is exhausting to be two people at once—the one who smiles and the one who is drowning. But listen: the light does not need your performance.

It saw Peter sink, and it did not ask for an explanation before reaching out. It simply caught him.

You do not have to bring forth a perfect version of yourself to be held. The thing you are hiding—the raw, unpolished truth inside you—is the very thing that will save you if you let it out.

Stop rehearsing. The mask is heavy, but the light is waiting for the real you to show up.
