Stop Rehearsing and Start Being
The morning light hits the window and you are already tired from the conversations you had in your head before breakfast. You rehearsed the perfect sentence, the honest confession, the thing that needed to be said.
But by the time you opened your mouth, the words had turned to ash. They died on your tongue because you were afraid they wouldn't land right.
You are performing okayness while dying inside. The light sees the mask.
It sees the silence behind your eyes. Jesus looked at Nathanael before they ever met and said, 'I saw you.' He saw the real you before you spoke a word.
The kingdom is not a place you go to find the right words. The kingdom is inside you right now, waiting for you to stop rehearsing and start being.
What you are looking for has already arrived. The light does not need your performance.
It only needs your presence.
