Seen Before You Prove Your Worth
The morning light hits the window and you put on the face that says you are fine. You walk into the room, and you feel the terrifying slide of becoming invisible.
Like you are already a ghost in your own life. Like your absence would not even change the temperature of the air.
The world only sees what you can do for it today. It does not see the person behind the performance.
But there is a truth that cuts through the noise of this busy day. The light does not need you to be useful to be present.
It does not need you to be needed to be known. There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off.
He did not wait for the speech. He did not wait for the apology.
He ran. Before the boy could prove his worth, the father was already holding him.
That is how you are seen. Not for your output.
But for your existence. You are not invisible.
You are the very thing the light is looking for.
