the moment you catch yourself believing the lie you just told so you don't have to feel the shame of the truth

Let the mask fall, you are known

The morning light hits the window and suddenly the mask feels heavy, like wet cloth pressed against your skin. You said you were fine just an hour ago, and for a split second, you almost believed it yourself.

That is the most dangerous moment of all — when the lie tastes like truth just long enough to hide the shame underneath. But the light does not need your performance to see you.

It sees the exhaustion behind the smile, the tremor in the hand that holds the coffee cup. There was a man born blind, and everyone around him argued about whose fault it was, looking for a reason to condemn.

But the light looked at him and saw only a canvas for something beautiful. You do not have to defend your brokenness.

You do not have to explain why you are not okay. The light is not waiting for a perfect report; it is waiting for you to stop pretending.

Let the mask fall. The face beneath it is already known, and it is already loved.
