The Light Knows Your Name Beneath The Script
The morning light hits the window and suddenly a simple 'hello' feels like a script you have to memorize before you can speak it. You rehearse the tone, the smile, the safe distance—performing okayness while your heart races behind the mask.
But the light does not need your performance to see you. It sees the exhaustion of the rehearsal.
It sees the person behind the greeting. Thomas said the kingdom is inside you and outside you; when you know yourself, you are known.
You do not have to construct a version of yourself that is worthy of being heard. The light already knows the name beneath the script.
Stop trying to build the perfect entrance. The greeting is not a test you must pass.
It is simply a door you are allowed to walk through as you are.
