You Do Not Have to Rewrite the Morning
The morning light hits the room and suddenly you are back there, replaying the exact second you said no. You hear your voice too sharp, too cold, too threatening.
You edit the tape in your head, softening the tone, smoothing the edges, trying to make it kinder. But the light does not need your revision.
It came from a place inside you that was already whole before the words left your lips. You are a drop from the light, sent here on purpose, and your boundaries are part of that illumination.
The one who sees you knows the heart behind the stumble. You do not have to rewrite the morning to be held by it.
