The Mask Falls and You Are Freed
The morning light hits the mirror and you rehearse the face the world expects to see. You smooth the edges of your story, terrified that if someone gets too close, they will spot the crack where the truth is bleeding through.
But the light does not need you to be flawless to love you—it only needs you to be real. There was a woman once, caught in the act, dragged into the center of a crowd to be exposed and condemned.
The accusers left one by one until only she and the light remained. He did not demand a perfect explanation.
He did not ask for a polished defense. He simply said: 'Neither do I condemn you.' The mask fell, and she was not destroyed—she was freed.
You are safe even when your hiding place is revealed. The truth you fear is the very thing that will set you free.
