The Light Loves Your Flinch
The morning light hits the mask you wore yesterday, and you see the flinch clearly now. You pulled away when they reached for you, and the shame of that reflex is sitting heavy in your chest while the world moves on.
But listen — the light does not require you to be brave before it loves you. It saw the fear that made you retreat, and it is not shocked by your instinct to protect yourself.
There is a truth inside you that wants to come out, a love buried under the reflex, and if you bring it forth, it will save you. The flinch was real, but it is not the whole story.
The light is already walking back into that room with you, not to scold the withdrawal, but to steady your hand for the next reach.
