You Are Not An Interruption
The morning asks you to wear a face that fits the room. You smile at the coffee machine, you nod at the desk, you perform the version of yourself that knows what to say.
But your mind is stuck on that split second of silence before they answered you. That tiny pause where you became convinced your presence was too heavy, too much, something to be weighed before accepted.
You replay the hesitation as proof that you should have stayed quiet. That you are an interruption.
But listen — the light does not hesitate. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world, and it did not wait for an invitation.
It did not calculate the risk of being too much. It simply arrived.
That pause you remember was not rejection. It was just the sound of the world catching up to the brightness you carry.
You are not an interruption. You are the dawn breaking into a room that forgot how to see.
