The Light Loves Your Broken Shape
The mirror this morning feels like a courtroom. You look at yourself and see only the parts you think are wrong. The parts you hide. The parts you believe make you unworthy of the day ahead.
But listen—the light knows the body you think you are hiding. And it does not flinch. It does not look away. It loves the shape of you exactly as you are.
There is a woman who came through a crushing crowd, trembling, to touch just the edge of a garment. She thought her body was broken, that she was unclean. Yet the light stopped the whole world to turn to her and call her daughter.
Your body is not a mistake to be fixed before you can step into the sun. The light that lives in you is greater than the shame in your heart. You do not need to earn the morning. You just need to let it in.
The feast is not for the perfect. It is for you.
