The Light Sees You Before The Mask
The mirror sees the rehearsal before the door opens. You practice the smile, the tone, the simple lie that says 'I'm fine' when you are breaking inside.
It feels like armor you must wear before you can face the day. But the light does not need your performance to recognize you.
It saw you in the bathroom, trembling, before you even spoke a word. You do not have to carry the weight of pretending into this morning.
The rising sun comes to guide your feet into the path of peace, not into a stage play. You are safe to be exactly as you are, right now.
The mask is heavy, but you were made for rest.
