The Light Sees Your Source Not Your Mask
The mirror knows the difference between the laugh you practiced and the silence you carry. You spend minutes arranging your face into something acceptable, something that won't invite questions about why your eyes look so heavy.
But the light does not need your performance to find you. It was there before you learned to hide.
You came from the light, the place where it generates itself, and that origin cannot be covered by any mask you wear. The world sees the act, but the light sees the source.
Stop trying to convince the glass that you are okay. The truth you are hiding is the very thing that will save you if you let it out.
You do not have to bring forth a smile to be held. You only have to stop pretending the darkness isn't there.
