The Light Sees You Beneath the Mask
The mirror is where you rehearse the smile that says you're fine, crafting a cheerful excuse for why you still haven't decided anything yet. You practice the lightness in your voice so no one suspects the weight of your silence.
But the light sees the script before you speak it. It knows the terror of standing still while the world demands motion.
There is a name written on a white stone that no one else knows — not the name of the procrastinator, not the name of the coward, but the secret identity you carry beneath the performance. You do not have to finish the sentence you prepared.
The light is not waiting for your explanation. It is waiting for you to stop acting and simply stand there, undecided and seen.
The mask is heavy, but the face beneath it is already known.
