The Light Knows Your Unmasked Face
The mirror in the hallway demands a performance you are too tired to give. You look at your reflection and realize you cannot remember what your face looks like when no one is watching — only the version you wear for the world, the version that smiles when it wants to scream.
You have become a mask that forgot the face underneath. But listen — the light does not need to see your face to know who you are.
It saw you before you ever learned to perform. It knows the expression you wear in the dark, the one you thought was lost.
You do not have to hold the smile up for God. The Father sees what is done in secret, and He is not fooled by the costume.
You can let the muscles relax. You can let the jaw unclench.
The light is not looking for a performance; it is looking for you. Drop the act.
The real you is the only one the light recognizes.
