Your Voice Will Not Break The Room

The middle of the day is when the mask feels heaviest, and your whole body braces before you speak because you are certain your voice will be the thing that breaks the room. You hold your breath, waiting for the crash that never comes.

But the light does not shatter when you speak; it shines. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.

If it does not shine, it is dark. You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord, and your origin cannot break what it created.

The room is not waiting for your perfection; it is waiting for your presence. Speak, and let the light do the work of holding the space.
