Grace Hears Your Whispered Apology
The middle of the day is when the mask feels heaviest, and the smallest stumble feels like a public indictment. You bumped into the chair, apologized to the wood, and then froze—terrified that the silence around you was actually a crowd judging your clumsiness.
But the light does not see a performance to be critiqued. It sees a human being navigating a world that is often too narrow for our weary bodies.
There is a mercy that covers the stumble before you even know you've fallen. You are not being watched by a jury of your peers.
You are being held by a presence that knows the weight of your steps better than you do. The shame says you should have been more careful.
The light says you are safe even when you are not. The apology you whispered to the object was really a cry for grace—and it was heard.
