The Light Is Already in the Car
The middle of the day is long, and the road back to that building feels longer. You tell yourself you are not ready, but the blinking fuel light says you are running on fumes from the waiting.
The light is not waiting for you to arrive; it is already in the car, in the steering wheel, in the hesitation itself. Split a piece of wood, and the light is there; lift up the stone of your delay, and you will find it underneath.
You do not need a full tank to take the turn; you only need to remember that the vine carries the sap while the branch simply remains. The light is not a destination you reach when you are strong; it is the ground you are driving on right now.
